One month ago, six IBM executives and two Citi executives from four countries around the world traveled to Porto Alegre, Brazil to participate in the IBM Smarter Cities Challenge. This particular team employed an innovative approach that combined the expertise and recommended solutions from two major corporations, IBM and Citi, seeking to collaboratively design a new Participatory Budgeting (PB) model for Porto Alegre.
