PYXERA Global Hosts Reception Sponsored by EY

WASHINGTON, DC | March 3, 2014 - PYXERA Global proudly announces a reception on April 7, 2014, from 5 to 7 pm at The Source at The Newseum in Washington, DC.  The reception, generously sponsored by EY, will follow this year’s Public-Private Partnership Forum on Catalyzing Growth in Emerging Markets, broadcast live from the Knight Studio at the Newseum, which will feature a series of conversations between senior public, private, and social sector leaders who will address the ways in which cross-sector interests converge to achieve shared value.

Members of Congress who are honorary co-hosts of the event include Congressman Tom Latham, Congressman Jim Moran, and Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

The reception honors those committed to a future of partnership, at the same time that it convenes an elite community of stakeholders, including those participating in the Forum, other Members of Congress and their staff, and an impressive array of corporate, private, and public stakeholders pursuing global engagement opportunities.

A leader in corporate responsibility, EY is committed to building a better working world with increased trust in business, sustainable growth, talent development, and greater collaboration. EY invests in communities, both close to home and in emerging markets, through skills-based volunteer programs.  The company invests in education to ensure that future generations have the skills required for societies to thrive, as well as small to medium-size businesses, social enterprises and entrepreneurs to help transform economies, drive innovation, and change communities.

“EY is looking forward to engaging with other companies committed to leveraging international corporate volunteerism as a way to catalyze growth in emerging markets,” said Deborah K. Holmes, Americas Director of Corporate Responsibility, EY.

This year’s Public Private Partnership’s Forum is part of the 5th Annual International Corporate Volunteerism Conference, an event that will examine how the practice of International Corporate Volunteerism is contributing to socio-economic growth in emerging and frontier markets.  “EY is a pioneer of cross-sector partnership and collaboration, and Deborah Holmes has been a champion of corporate responsibility within the private sector,” said Deirdre White, CEO of PYXERA Global. “We are honored to have the opportunity to host this exciting and important event with such committed partners.”
